FlatPress is a web application that allows users to store, manage and publish posts in text files rather than databases. The tool is based on PHP and is lightweight because it does not need a database for storing information.

FlatPress provides users advanced features. It uses Bulletin Board Code (BBCode) for marking up posts and has a framework that supports plug-ins and templates for customization.
