The service enables you to consume dedicated VMware Cloud environments on Azure. You can choose the desired Azure location and build clouds using Dedicated Cloud Node type to match the compute, memory and storage capacity best suited for your VMware workloads. You get full, native, direct access to VMware vSphere, vCenter, vSAN and NSX and thus get operational continuity from your existing enterprise IT. You can instantly provision, grow or shrink VMware environments. The VMware platform is managed and operated 'as a service' and includes all the necessary storage, networking and management infrastructure and services required to consume the environment. The CloudSimple service also offers a unique, unified, consistent management of virtual machines deployed on your VMware Cloud. You can view virtual machines mapped to your subscriptions, manage performance and perform power operations such as start, stop, suspend / resume. You can reconfigure device compute and memory sizes, disks or network interfaces. You can even create new virtual machines using the VMware capacity allocated to your subscription. You can take advantage the same identities, IAM, tagging, audit logging, alerts and other capabilities uniformly between VMware and the rest of Azure resources.
