This image contains the Windows Server 2012 R2 Datacenter operating system with HPC Pack 2016 installed to create the compute node of a Microsoft HPC Pack 2016 cluster in Azure. We recommend using a VM size of at least A3. It is strongly recommended to use the Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates to automatically create an HPC Pack 2016 cluster in Azure with the HPC Pack 2016 images. For more information see here.
