This image contains the Standard edition of SQL Server 2017 on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.4. Standard edition provides core data management capabilities for medium-size transactional processing. For a comprehensive list of the components included in Enterprise edition on Linux go to http://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/linux/sql-server-linux-editions-and-components-2017. We recommend that you use a virtual machine size of DS12 or higher.
After provisioning, please run $sudo /opt/mssql/bin/mssql-conf set-sa-password to configure SQL Server.
