This image contains the Standard edition of SQL Server 2017 on Windows Server 2016. Standard edition provides core data management capabilities for medium-size transactional processing and data warehousing. It includes the database engine with a basic version of Always On high availability and Row-Level Security. Includes Management Studio for integrated administration and development, Integration Services for moving and transforming data and Analysis Services for data mining. We recommend that you use a virtual machine size of DS12 or higher.
