This distribution of Linux is based on CentOS 7.7 and optimized for High Performance Compute (HPC) instances on Microsoft Azure. It is provided by Rogue Wave Software (formally OpenLogic). It is intended for HPC workloads on Azure's HB and HC instances, and not intended for the older A8/A9 or standard H-series VMs.
