Azure Government Migration: 4 Wk Assessment
AIS’ Azure Government Migration Assessment enables you to assess the dependencies and cloud readiness of on-prem applications and workloads to inform your cloud migration roadmap and prioritization.
This 4-week engagement includes remote workshops, cloud migration analysis of your current on-premises workloads, and a presentation of cloud migration assessment findings and the next steps to help you create a roadmap for prioritizing the migration of your applications to the cloud.
Engagement Approach:
Phase 1 – Strategy and Workload Discovery: Client work sessions to understand your business goals and strategy for cloud migration and conduct an initial inventory of workloads and applications, including COTS, GOTS, and custom-developed, to create a prioritized migration and modernization backlog that aligns with your strategic goals. We work with the key system owners and SMEs for each workload or application to assess each application.
Phase 2 – Systems Analysis and Dependency Mapping: Analysis of the systems and source code of custom applications to determine system interdependencies, cloud readiness, application scope, and approach for migration or modernization of your applications to be moved to the cloud, implemented using an agile approach.
Phase 3 – Present Findings: Analyze data, documentation, systems, and code to compile findings and recommendations and plan for progressing with cloud migration and modernization efforts.
Deliverables:
Through tooling and workshops, we’ll work with you to build a prioritized application roadmap to drive your cloud migration, determine the right migration or modernization approach, and present the findings to your stakeholders. Following this engagement, as described in our migration service offering, we’ll help you establish a cloud platform and begin a phased migration, including a proof of concept and prioritized application batches using agile methodology.
