Azure VMware Solution - Proof of Concept - 6 weeks

AVS Migration Engagement:

1. Workshop & Assessment (2 weeks)

• Understand Business Objectives & motivations for Cloud Adoption
• Identify Current State & Pain Points
• Assess your existing digital estate and create a cloud roadmap
• Discovery: data gathering of IT inventory & utilization
• Study current network, security design and business continuity plan
• Target Cloud Sizing & create a Cloud TCO report

2. Design, Plan, POC (4 weeks)

• Setup landing zone for AVS environment with Minimum 3 host for Pilot/PoC
• Setup network communication between On-prem to Azure AVS via express route/VPN
• Setup VMware HCX connector to On-prem and connect to AVS HCX enterprise. (Create the Compute/Network and mesh profile)
• Migrate 5 test VMs with Live migration (vMotion) and bulk migration (Replication based) method
• Test & create POC Outcome Report
