Participation details:
- Best suited for Developers, Software/System Architects, DevOps teams
- Number of participants: 10 – 20
- Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of Docker containers and access to software such as Docker desktop, Azure CLI, Kubectl, Helm
- You can choose either the Developer Track or Operator Track.
Developer Track:
- Core Concepts Covered: Docker & Kubernetes, Kubernetes Deployment, ACR, AKS, Key vault, Container Insights, Ingress & Egress Overview
- Operator Related Concepts: Overview on Security, Identity, Network Design, Governance and Cost
- Demo / Exercises: Application Overview, demo covering all the topics under core concepts and deployment using Helm3
Operator Track:
- Core Concepts Covered: Docker & Kubernetes, Kubernetes Deployment, ACR, AKS, Key vault, Container Insights, Ingress & Egress Overview
- Demo / Exercises: Creating Cluster, Overview of Terraform templates, Basic config options available for AKS, and Monitoring, Security & Basic Operations (secrets, svc accounts, kubectl)
