Cloud Adoption Assessment: 3-week assessment

The Cloud Adoption Assessment will give an indication of your organisation’s readiness, identify potential barriers and suggest how they might be overcome. It will also outline a migration plan and development roadmap and helps you to build a business case for a move to public cloud.

We will assess the following aspects:

• Cultural readiness
• Needs assessment
• Technical readiness
• Budgetary readiness
• Resourcing readiness

Cloud Adoption Assessment methodology:

• Discovery: series of face to face meetings, questionnaires and documentation reviews that help to develop an understanding your business environment and goals and an overview of relevant IT services, operations and relationships

• Legacy IT Service Analysis: outline assessment of the current IT technical and service framework and costs, including strengths and weaknesses in meeting business needs

• Candidate Cloud Service Assessment: consideration of appropriate Cloud Service designs and market providers in line with technical, service and commercial requirements and constraints

• Migration Assessment: key migration tasks, skills, costs and timescales to establish a cloud-based IT service delivery model, including technical, operational and organisational considerations

• Cost-Benefit Analysis: pragmatic, holistic and independent cost-benefit analysis reflecting the customer business environment and IT maturity

Deliverables Following the Cloud Adoption Assessment we will deliver a presentation and report about your readiness to move to the cloud, identifying areas that are ready (green) areas that need some work (amber) and areas that need much more work (red). This will help you to:
