Introducing concepts of a Cloud Data Platform in Azure: 0.5 day Assessment

In this workshop, we introduce the benefits and basic concepts of a modern data platform – its benefits and flexibility, scalability, and quick return on investment. This workshop aims to explain clearly how your company can start to build a modern Data Platform using Microsoft Azure.

We will walk through and describe the parts of a modern data platform and its purpose. We will present the typical use cases as well as the plan and resources needed to implement these. We will tell what it takes to ingest and store the data from source applications, process and transform the data, and then serve the data to analytics users via BI tools such as Power BI.

This workshop will help you understand the difference between an old and more rigid way of implementing a data solution and the revolution in how flexible the implementation is in Microsoft Azure.
