Azure Local Jumpstart
Sentinel Technologies offers a comprehensive Azure Local Jumpstart solution, formerly known as Azure Stack HCI, designed to provide hybrid cloud infrastructure that meets your organization's needs.
Sentinel will showcase its expertise by thoroughly validating and demonstrating the capabilities of Microsoft Azure Local. In addition, Sentinel will deliver an in-depth overview of the platform's administration and maintenance, highlighting key functionalities and best practices for optimal performance and management. Scope of Work Details Implementation Install up to three (3) nodes within client’s data center facilities. Update up to three (3) nodes for latest compatible firmware. Prepare up to one (1) AD DS Domain for up to one (1) Azure Local clusters. Configure out-of-band management (OOBM) for up to three (3) compatible servers. Download and install the Azure Local operating system on up to three (3) compatible servers. Register up to three (3) compatible servers with Azure Arc as Azure Local nodes. Deploy the Azure Local cluster configuration for up to one (1) cluster in alignment with the design document. Validate up to three (3) nodes for latest updates and drivers. Deploy up to one (1) Windows Admin Center (WAC) for cluster administration. Create up to three (3) Azure Arc Virtual Machines (VM) on the Azure Local cluster. Review and deploy up to one (1) additional node to the exisitng Azure Local cluster. Discover and Design Review up to one (1) existing Azure Subscriptions. Review up to two (2) data center switches for compatibility. Inclusive of reviewing network segment availability. Inclusive of reviewing software-defined network (SDN) fabric architecture. Review up to one (1) existing Active Directory (AD) Domain Services (DS) Domains. Administrative segmentation of virtual hosts is recommended. Local identity with Azure Key Vault for Azure Local, formerly AD-less deployment, is available with version 23H2 and newer. Inclusive of Domain Name System (DNS) services. Review up to three (3) servers for compatibility. Three network interface cards (NIC) are recommended to allow for separation of storage, compute, and management intents. Two NICs can be functionally deployable though. Review existing licensing entitlements for Azure Hybrid Benefit (AHB). Alternatively, the hypervisor and guest operating systems can obtain licensing from Azure at a consumption rate. Review resiliency capabilities. Inclusive of Azure Site Recovery, Azure Backup, and third-party integrations. Create a design document with implementation decisions.
