Azure TFS migration to DevOps: 8-Wk Implementation

Microsoft Azure DevOps is a suite of cloud services that allow you to efficiently manage the entire product or service development process using agile management methods, automated deployments, Git repositories, and more. Azure DevOps includes the following services:

1. Azure Boards - tools for agile planning and project management
2. Azure Pipelines - CI/CD for any platform (Widnows, Linux, macOS)
3. Azure Repos - unlimited number of private git repositories
4. Azure Test Plans - manual and exploratory testing
5. Azure Artifacts - universal package repository Moving your on-premises Team Foundation Server to Azure DevOps gives you access to the latest versions without the need for installation, upgrades, etc. However, the move itself can be complex and time-consuming. With our support, however, the process will be fast and secure.

Typical itinerary

1. Meeting with the client to review the current TFS environment. Identification of current dependencies. The meeting is in the scope of 8 hours.
2. Create and agree on a migration plan containing the content of the migration (what branches, work items, builds will be part of the migration). This plan must be approved by the customer.
3. Preparation of the local TFS, if an upgrade to a higher version will be necessary
4. Preparation and setup of Azure DevOps
5. Performing 3 test migrations to identify and fix bugs
6. Performing the final migration
7. Verification of completed migration
8. Preparation of documentation (procedures, manuals) Outcomes
9. Created and configured Azure DevOps
10. Documentation to manage your new Azure solution a. Login credentials b. Description of the environment (in the scope of 8 hours)

Nota bene:

1. The price is set for migration of max 50 projects and 20 build configurations
2. Post-migration support and management can be agreed upon (billed separately)
3. Target Azure subscription will be provided by the customer
