LAMPstack is a standard stack model provided as a web service solution, which is an abbreviation of its core open source components: 1. Linux CentOS operating system [Centos 8.2] 2. Apache HTTP server [Apache 2.4] 3. MySQL database server [MySQL 8.0] 4. PHP language [PHP 7.4] This image is made for users who are keen to quickly deploy a LAMPstack server installation and its dependencies without needing to download the components from scratch. Linux OS makes up the first layer of the stack model and forms the foundation layer on which other layers run on. Apache web server forms the second layer and is used for translating web browsers to the correct website. The third layer is MySQL where the backend databases are kept. Finally PHP sits right on top and is a server scripting language.
