Azure Blockchain Service is a fully-managed ledger service in Azure. It enables users to grow and operate blockchain networks at scale with simplified network formation, consortium management, and governance. By eliminating the burden of building, managing, and growing the underlying network, Azure Blockchain Service empowers customers to focus on what matters to them—business logic and app development.

Azure Blockchain Service manages the underlying blockchain infrastructure and provides a holistic view of an entire network including node monitoring, health and blockchain network monitoring. It also delivers governance support, such as centralized administration enabling easy on-boarding of new members to the network. It reduces network configuration from weeks to hours or even minutes and allows network operators to provision new nodes or members in a single click.
