SQL Database Cloud Platform

What do you like best about the product?
The functionality and features that it offer, which are very similar to an on premise SQL Server including stored procedures, and strong transactional capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Face a lot of difficulty and complexity while managing the billing structure leading to unexpected costs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To store and manage relational database.

What do you like best about the product?
Realize cost savings, stronger security. Confidential computing and hotpatching.
What do you dislike about the product?
Price is the only downside. It costs a little more, but does more for the dough.

Capable Product With Challenging Learning Curve

What do you like best about the product?
Azure is able to handle just about any task remotely related to networking & databases.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's difficult to navigate Azure's UI. While you CAN do nearly anything you need, learning where to go to start up is a challenge in itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Azure allows for modular pricing in a way that few other solutions fulfill; you pay for what you need, and nothing else.

Best Database for any team

What do you like best about the product?
It is fast and has every feature that a team needs, My team has been using it for the last 2 years, it's easy to use and its customer support is great
What do you dislike about the product?
it's costly and sometimes has some bugs, but it does not have many extensions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
this database is fast and secure, the scalability with this database is really safe and fast, it has every feature that my team need.

Mizrosoft Azure is the simplest yet powerful cloud offering in the market

Cost compared to others in this segment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were looking to optimize our hosting and have been recommended by the consultant to migrate and we are happy with the decision

Easy to use and has a great ecosystem

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to find information about Azure is easy. We utilize the platform mostly for data science projects where we need automated ML process. The platform helped us to design a process for our model development lifecycle. There are around 10 team members that are actively using the platform
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing model is hard to understand and calculate. So components and services are charged based on transactions which is hard to know till you are fully live
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HAving a kubernetes driven envrionment makes it easy to have an easy end to end model deployment cycle for our data science teams Container Registery and AKS is very helpful to run model as a service projects

An awesome place for your cloud needs. Be it hosting applications or developing them.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of subscription, creating VMs, data storage, and configuring pipelines. Ease of integration with other platforms. Scalability is perfect.
What do you dislike about the product?
The dashboard looks a little clumsy. All the created resources need to be figured out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Developing, testing & hosting my applications. Databases inclusive. Configuring pipelines.

What do you like best about the product?
Wide Range of Database Options-Azure SQL Database for relational workloads. Fully Managed Services-Performance monitoring and tuning,Automatic backups
What do you dislike about the product?
Cost Complexity:Azure's pricing model can be complex, with various tiers, regions, and features influencing costs. Hidden Costs- Additional charges for features like geo-replication, read replicas, and backups can add up unexpectedly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Microsoft Azure Databases solve a wide range of problems related to data storage, management, and scalability. Complexity in Database Management-Time-consuming administrative tasks like backups, updates, and performance tuning.

Works well for scaling without infrastructure maintenance

What do you like best about the product?
I've used multiple DB aaS products before and would definitely recommend due to how easy it is to use and the multiple ways it can be integrated into the different tools and platforms within your environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be risky in terms of security if working in a regulated industry such as pharma, banking or healthcare. Security breaches can be a concern with reference to confidential data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am saving cost and effort on having an inhouse team scaling my DB infrastructure for capacity and compute.
