Remotely manage your on-premises servers and Azure VMs using the Azure portal
Server management tools (preview) is being retired on June 30th, 2017. Click for more details…
Manage your servers from anywhere, on any browser, for free
Use management tools such as PowerShell, Task Manager, File Explorer, Event Viewer and Certificate Manager in Azure to remotely manage your Windows Server 2012, 2012 R2 and 2016 servers.
To create a new connection for the first time, you will need a gateway server that acts as a proxy between the Azure portal and the target servers you wish to manage. The gateway server retrieves requests from the Azure portal through an outbound internet connection and routes them to the servers in your network.
See our overview blog post to learn more about the Server management tools architecture and requirements. Also, see our deployment blog post for step-by-step instructions on configuring Server management tools.
By clicking the Create button, I acknowledge that the terms of the Supplemental Terms of Use for Microsoft Azure Previews apply.
