About this runbook

This runbook connects to Azure and starts all virtual vachines in the specified Azure cloud service or, if no cloud service is specified, it starts all VMs in an Azure subscription. Run this runbook on a daily schedule to make sure the virtual machines that you need are started for you when you need them.

Dependencies

An Azure Automation credential containing the credentials of an Azure Active Directory organizational user with permissions to manage your Azure subscription. To learn more about getting set up to manage Azure, see get set up for Automation.
