The Arxus Cloud Custodian Service is provided by Arxus to guide an organization to Azure with a standardized roadmap approach. This approach operates 3 stages: Plan, Ready and Operate.

The 3 stages are specifically guided by the high necessity of governance in a public cloud environment like Azure. The Plan stage will define the governance ruleset, which is implemented in the Ready stage and operationally managed in the Operate stage. Implementation of the 3 stages follows the Cloud Adoption Framework, provided by Microsoft, with the goal for Arxus to provide its customers with a fully managed Cloud Center of Excellence.

Plan
Arxus guides the customer to the cloud starting with the Plan stage. Within this stage, Arxus provides the customer with the option of workshops and assessments with the purpose to gather information and to educate.

• Workshops are guided by an Arxus subject matter expert and are aimed to educate and to have a discussion on the most important topics when starting a cloud roadmap. The most important workshop to start a cloud journey well is the Governance Workshop.
• Assessments have a specific scope and are aimed to gather information and provide recommendations for a specific workload or topic.

Ready
At the Ready stage Arxus implements, using automated templates, a Landing Zone according to best practices added with customizations discussed during the Plan stage. This Landing zone is configured in a way it is ready to welcome first use cases as wel as any future use cases in a controlled manner.

Operate
The Operate stage manages your tenant, management groups, subscriptions, resource groups and resources.

• Arxus provides Tenant and Subscription wide managed services, controlling your governance and compliance according to discussed rulesets as well as keeping an eye on budgets for custom managed cost centers.
• On an Azure Resource level, Arxus monitors health, performance, and availability through the Cloud Custodian Standard Service. With the Cloud Custodian Extended Service, Arxus elevates this resource management with additional resource, middleware, and application monitoring for supported resource types.
• You will get access to our custom developed Arxus Portal, which gives you the power of all our knowledge and our experience at your fingertips. This Cloud Management Platform offers everything a self-service experience needs.
