Get introduced to modern data architectures with this 5 day workshop.

In this workshop, attendees will receive a detailed overview of modern data platforms and will gain the basic knowledge required to move from an on-premise data platform to modern cloud-based data lake one.
Workshop will consist on:
  1. Part one (Theory): From the Data Warehouse to the Data Lake (evolution of information platforms).
  2. Part two (Theory): Introduction to distributed systems (Hadoop, Spark, NoSQL DBs).
  3. Part three (hands-on): Azure Data Platform
    • Azure Data Factory
    • Azure Databricks
    • Azure Synapse
    • Azure Data Lake Storage
    • Azure Data Lake Analytics
    • Event Hub
    • Stream Analytics
    • Power BI
  4. Part four (hands-on): Integral lab. Attendees will implement a solution consisting in all 8 services listed above.

All the hands-on labs and examples used during the workshop will be populated with data related towards client’s industry/business area in order to be specific and more helpful to the attendees.
