FileBridge is the smart way to get the combined benefits of cloud and local storage for your business files. FileBridge creates a seamless connection between the files, directories and shares you already have and Microsoft Azure. This gives you protection (backup), scalability (Azure is really big), and the ability to remove inactive files from your local storage so that you don’t need to buy more. Also, at your option, you can access your files directly from the web in addition to your local network. FileBridge offers you a cheaper and more efficient way to store old files indefinitely, while decreasing your need for local infrastructure.
At the 20TB level, FileBridge gives you 20TB of space in Azure, and will compress and then move and/or copy as many files as can fit in that space. You can back up active files, store old files for long term archiving, or both. Storing old files in the cloud frees up space that you already own so that you won't need to buy more as time goes on.
