Pre-configured virtual Linux machine for installing an instance of IGEL Cloud Gateway

The IGEL Cloud Gateway (ICG) enables full management and control of IGEL OS endpoints outside of the company network with the IGEL Universal Management Suite (UMS). The installation of the ICG software requires a Linux host.

We have partnered with Azure to make sure you have the best experience using our products for professional Endpoint Management. With our offer we provide a pre-configured Linux virtual machine, ready to install the ICG software combined with the security, high availability, and ease of Azure.

Please visit the IGEL Knowledge Base to learn more about how to install and configure ICG: https://kb.igel.com/igelicg-12.02/en/igel-cloud-gateway-icg-90238150.html

The following scenarios are typical use cases for the ICG:

  • The IGEL OS-managed endpoint devices (IGEL UD, UD Pocket, or devices converted by UDC3/OSC) of all geographically dispersed branches of a company are to be managed by one central Universal management Suite UMS.
  • UD Pocket or devices converted by UDC3/OSC are to be managed by the UMS, which is residing on premises.

IGEL Cloud Gateway extends the IGEL Universal Management Suite via a standard internet connection to manage endpoints running in remote branch offices, at home offices or by roaming road warriors. Whether based in the cloud or in the DMZ, IGEL Cloud Gateway seamlessly authenticates connection and transfers necessary data between the Universal Management Suite and the IGEL OS managed endpoint without a VPN or leased line.

IGEL Cloud Gateway is part of the IGEL COSMOS PAS License. More information about the IGEL Software Products and Licenses are available on www.igel.com.
