Getting started

You can get started with your direct deployment of Cloud Volumes ONTAP in just a few steps with the Azure wizard that is available directly through the Microsoft Azure Marketplace portal. From this page:

1. Click the Create prompt that is highlighted at the top of the listing.
2. You will then be directed to the offering page. Select a plan.
3. Follow the highlighted steps to finalize your basic configuration selections, including networking, security, and tags.
4. Click Review + Create to deploy Cloud Volumes ONTAP.
5. Upon successful deployment, you’ll receive a login prompt. After you log in (with your configured username and password), you are ready to go and can begin creating volumes (for NFS), LUNs (for iSCSI), or shares (for CIFS).

Note: You can use NetApp ONTAP System Manager to perform ONTAP upgrades and other configuration changes.
