NEXTFOAM OpenFOAM with NVIDIA AmgX is an Ubuntu Linux distribution configured to run OpenFOAM v2406 with AmgX for GPU support. This image is pre-configured for HPC clusters and GPU virtual machines on Microsoft Azure. OpenFOAM v2406 is installed to support Azure Infiniband virtual machines using OpenMPI with HPCX. NVIDIA AmgX is built for OpenFOAM GPU support. HPC clusters and GPU virtual machines with OpenMPI, NFS, and blobfuse are automatically configured at launch time. Users can connect to the virtual machine and cluster with a GUI using the RDP protocol. Paraview is pre-installed for post-processing. For automatic HPC configuration, NextFOAM HPC tools with HPC launcher and administration tool are provided - Headnode is configured as NFS server for the shared storage service - Azure blob is automatically mounted to the HPC cluster nodes for storing permanant data.
