Print from any device
Your patrons can print from any of their own devices, be that their smartphones, tablets, or laptops. They can just scan a QR code near the printer or open their preferred web browser and go to print.princh.com to begin printing straight away.
When using the Princh public PC printing solution, users can print using the native print function. Once they click ‘Print’ on their document, they will be taken to the Princh printing interface, where they can adjust the print settings to their needs, or upload more documents.
No user accounts or apps required
Whether it’s a new or returning user, or even a guest at your organization, patrons can immediately start the printing process. They don’t need to create any user accounts or passwords, nor are they required to download any apps.
When copying or scanning their documents, users follow a simple wizard-based flow, which is displayed on the MFD’s built-in interface or on a tablet attached to the printer. Similarly to printing, neither copying nor scanning requires users to create an account.
Truly integrated electronic payment
As there are no user accounts, patrons don’t need to deposit any money; they only pay for their documents and nothing more. Payment is integrated into the printing and copying processes, meaning users must pay for their documents before receiving them.
Uniquely, users never have to enter their payment details on a public device. When they reach the payment screen on a public PC or tablet, patrons can scan a QR code to complete the payment on their own devices.
The payment options Princh currently offers include bank cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and various local payment apps, such as MobilePay or VIPPS.
Princh holds the electronic payment agreements, which means that your organization does not have set up any payment agreements, kiosks, or other POS (points of sale) hardware to accept transactions.
Industry-leading security
Princh is ISO 27001:2022 certified, and the first company to achieve this certification in the printing and payment industry.
Furthermore, all data transmissions are end-to-end encrypted using asymmetric encryption. This means that only the local printer or print server can decrypt the users’ document(s), ensuring that neither Princh, nor any other third party can decrypt or access your users’ data. Additionally, all documents are automatically deleted from the system after 24 hours.
Unlike with other solutions, when users scan their document(s) Princh does not directly attach their scanned files to the email. Instead, the system sends a password protected link to the provided email address. Patrons can use this link to access their files for 24 hours, after which the files are deleted. The password to the documents is set by the user during the scanning process.
