ONE Referral is cloud-based software to help clinicians and hospitals keep patients from getting lost in the health system.

It simplifies the referral of patients to a multi-disciplinary team [MDT], a tumour board, or between hospitals, and automates uploads of patient demographics. For referrals across hospitals and regions, it automatically requests the transfer of relevant histology and radiology for that patient from the national repositories or from local and regional EPRs if integrated. Its cloud-based deployment and simple interface mean that teams can manage referrals and reviews virtually, online, and across location and time differences.

ONE Referral creates automatically PDF and data summaries to make it easy to understand a referral and more quickly digest and follow up on a recommendation or a patient transfer. Much work has been done to make sure that team coordinators can aggregate and easily manage referrals for review.

ONE Referral also records patient goals, important information including psychosocial factors, and the patient’s wishes with respect to being contacted or approached for relevant clinical research.

ONE Referral can be integrated with other primary and secondary care systems to automate follow-up such as blood testing and radiological exams.
